Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship has accelerated more than 1,000 social enterprises since 2003, leveraging our location in the heart of Silicon Valley and our Jesuit ambition to end poverty and protect the planet. These enterprises collectively have improved, transformed, or saved the lives of over 400 million people in 100 countries. We also help transform social ministries to more sustainable social enterprise models and engage Santa Clara University students in field research to support social entrepreneurs.

We aim to hack development by leveraging technology and bringing together a range of stakeholders to make positive change happen in developing and emerging markets.

AlphaMundi's mission is to catalyze and scale investment in social enterprises that seek to improve the lives of the poor.The AlphaMundi Foundation (AMF) was founded in 2016 as a response to the growth of the AlphaMundi Group (AMG). Since its inception in 2008, AlphaMundi Group has endeavored to be a pioneer and thought leader in impact investing, understanding the importance of providing more than just capital to early stage social ventures. AlphaMundi Foundation is intended to fulfill AMG's need to formalize early stage technical assistance for its portfolio companies and to improve key areas of impact measurement in order to to help scale the impact investing industry. Historically, AMG had already been supplying ad-hoc technical assistance to select portfolio companies with shared financing from partners, third parties, and portfolio companies.

Head of Advisory Services, Indonesia, March 2008 – December 2009Managed a large team to deliver IFC’s Advisory Services program in Indonesia (responsible for 60 staff and budget of $9 million per year). Strategic priorities included finding private sector solutions to: expand access to finance, extend the reach of infrastructure, strengthen commodity-based supply chains, and improve the business climate. Highlights include:• Developed a country strategy for a five year program, together with investment colleagues. Concrete goals are to improve the lives of 40 million Indonesians, facilitate/mobilize more than $15 billion in investments, and reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions by 160 million tons CO2 equivalent.• Led in all aspects of management, both operational (e.g., technical teams by business lines) and administrative (HR, Finance, Communications, Office Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation).• Conducted fundraising and promotional activities to support the country strategy, including internal and external liaising with a broad spectrum of stakeholders. Raised $20m over the past 15 months.• Managed a delicate transition that entailed significant staff turnover, exit of several programs, and launch of new strategy, processes, systems, etc.Sector Leader, Access to Finance, East Asia and the Pacific, August 2006 – March 2008Advise and coordinate IFC’s five Advisory Services programs in Access to Finance throughout East Asia and the Pacific. Areas of regional priority include: microfinance, SME banking, housing finance, leasing, mobile phone banking, financial infrastructure and capital markets development.
