At COVIDCheck Colorado I led the product and data teams delivering on over 800,000 tests and 300,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. A few highlights of working with this incredible team:- Maintained an average NPS of 89- Managed the rapid (1 month) development and deployment of a COVID-19 attestation solution for families and staff of the largest school district in Colorado- Led product and technical process innovations for in-school COVID-19 testing- Delivered on complex data reporting requirements for 160 organizational clients including Fortune 500 companies, grassroots community organizations, urban school districts, health providers and CDPHE- Scaled administrative technology solutions initially serving dozens of staff to over 1500 team members in < 1 year

At Shift Research Lab I designed and implemented systems and processes to help social sector organizations scale their impact using data. I helped nonprofit and foundation partners understand where they were at on the analytics journey and provided guidance on next steps. I worked on tools like Community Facts to make using data in decision making more accessible here in Colorado. I spent a lot of my time listening to ensure that our solutions are as simple as possible while producing clear, actionable results.

Open.Media is a nonprofit tech startup (check out https://www.ffwd.org/ for more on npo tech startups!) that helps state & local government live stream their meetings, index agenda items, take minutes and provide a video library of meetings that are searchable by audio transcripts, agenda items and minutes. I was the technical co-founder and worked with my team to grow the service to over 50 city and state governments.As CTO I developed the software, designed and maintained the SaaS platform. I also managed vendors, third party contributions and worked directly with our government clients to define and deploy new features. The platform leverages AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda). The software was built using Javascript/React, Python and PHP.

The Open Media Foundation serves as an ad-agency specialized in increasing the impact of nonprofit and government entities.I built the web division of the foundation from the ground up. We started out as a two person team designing and building sites using the Drupal content management system and eventually grew to a team of 6 focused on custom product development for larger NPOs and government clients. My responsibilities included managing the team and department budget, project scoping and estimates, client presentations and ongoing development. During this period I worked primarily with Javascript, PHP, Python, HTML/CSS on LAMP/LEMP stacks.

My primary responsibility was organizing the Nonprofit/NGO track including recruiting speakers, reviewing session proposals and working with the local team to help with conference logistics.

In 2006 I co-founded Civic Pixel, a web development firm dedicated to working with nonprofits and small businesses. Civic Pixel created sustainable websites, brand identities and print materials for organizations dedicated to positive change. I spent the majority of my time managing clients, developing processes and executing websites using Drupal (PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MySQL).

The Brett Family Foundation supports caring communities by investing in organizations throughout Colorado working for social justice, and Boulder County nonprofits addressing the needs of underserved communities, primarily disadvantaged youth and their families. As Program Manager I worked with the Executive Director to develop programs, manage grant cycles and evaluate nonprofit organizations for funding.

Deproduction: The [denverevolution] Production Group exists to put the power of the media into the hands of the community by providing production services & media education to individuals and community-focused organizations. I started at this organization as a fundraising intern primarily responsible for assisting with grant applications. As I graduated from the internship I was responsible for filing for 501(c)(3) status as well as board and organizational development .
