Videospiele begleiten mich seit Kindstagen und sind eine unerschöpfliche Wundertüte, insbesondere wenn man ihre Stärken erkennt und versteht, sich diese zu Nutze zu machen. Persönlich interessiert ich mich für Games und andere Medien vor allem im Kontext narrativer Phänomene (Erzähluniversen, Worldbuilding, Transmedia Storytelling), ihrer Rezeptionsästhetik und den Wechselwirkungen zwischen Populärkultur, Gesellschaft und Politik.2010 von Bremen nach Berlin gezogen, um an der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Potsdam (heute Filmuniversität Babelsberg) Medienwissenschaft zu studieren. Während des Studiums erste Erfahrungen in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit gesammelt (beim Studentenfilmfestival sehsüchte) und als Werkstudent beim deutschen Games-Branchenverband BIU (heute game) gestartet. In der Zeit beim Verband viele Pressetexte geschrieben und viele gamescoms erlebt. Nach einem Ausflug in die Virtual Reality als Content Manager bei webedia zurück in die game-Familie gewechselt, zur Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur. Dort betreue ich seitdem die Kommunikation der Stiftung und verantworte das Jugendförderprogramm GamesTalente.
