I worked Pre-load hours (2am - 9am) splitting parcels on the larger belt at the Bloomington facility during Holiday peak (mid-November to late December). Assisted truck loaders with their assignments, kept the belt uptime maximized, ran back parcels which were missed by the loaders in order to minimize mis-loads, and was trained in safety and awareness at the hub. Perfect attendance through peak while working my day job.During peak 2013 (mid-November to MLK day 2014), I loaded the trucks instead of splitting the belt. I took items off the belt and put them into the truck in sequential order for the driver to deliver later in the day. I also delivered with the driver in the afternoon due to high volume. This involved using the DIAD to complete deliveries in the UPS delivery software system. Average stops per hour during non-peak is 12 to 15 - I averaged over 18 stops an hour during peak, sometimes getting 100 or more stops completed in under 5 hours.
