Program Coordinator (PC): PC will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a project and ensuring that it is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. PC will communicate with stakeholders and ensuring that project information is shared effectively, mobilize project team and stakeholders, managing timelines, milestones, and deadlines ensuring effective and efficient use of resources, and manage to complete project deliverables on time and meet quality standards. PC will function as a liaison between the Partner, project team, and other stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that all parties are working towards the set outcomes along with handling issues or challenges in a timely manner. PC will ensure that activities are aligned with the goal of the project through aligning plans, budget, and schedules in the same direction. The PC will be responsible for the smooth operation of the project, ensuring that all the planned activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Pathways tO Wellbeing, Empowerment, and Resilience for Adolescents and Youth (POWER 4 AY) is Adolescents and Youths (AYs) centred project intends to improve choices towards teenagepregnancy and early marriage and prevent violence against AYs, promote gender transformative and inclusiveeducational pathways for AYs, increase decent employment opportunities and protection from harmful workAnd improve policies, systems, services, and networks with and for AYs.

Project Summary is following.The overall objective of the Youth Empowerment Bulgari Project to augment inclusive and sustainable society by enhancing life success of children and youths of Nepal’. In addition, specific objective of the award is improving livelihood condition of the most deprived children/youths through creating opportunities for education, life skills development and economic activities. The youths who do initiate for livelihood improvement can be demonstrated as an agent of socio-economic change in the rural areas. Similarly, the award focuses on school retention, emotional management, and life skill development of children at grade 8 to 10 of age group 13 to 15 years especially disadvantaged adolescents who have dropped out and likely to drop out from school. There are three main areas of intervention of this award: 1) personal development, 2) education and training, and 3) economic empowerment.Adolescents and youths who are equipped with information related to government policy, program and local resources including emotion management, behaviour, attitude improvement can demonstrate innovatively in the society where they are living. Likewise, through providing education and training to children who has dropped -out and likely to drop out it is that their school retention improves. Once they complete at least secondary level education, they can be independent by entering the job market and can earn for their basic requirements.

The position holder manage overall roles and responsibility assigned to his as a manager (Officer) and helped implementing the activities under SC Italy funded Youth Empowerment Project, in partnership of Save the Children. The responsibilities include overall implementation of the project designed activity including timely planning ensure “quality achievement” for each activity conducted within the project period. Also supported the procurement and purchase within the project team and ensure the program activities to be executed on time with maximum quality.
