Developed and oversaw numerous criminal justice reform initiatives intended to improve policing and jail operations within the County, which resulted in the allocation of billions of dollars in County funds.* Science policy and disaster response: Advised on policy and logistics relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on widespread testing and vaccine distribution.* Equitable access to healthcare: Proposed, developed, and implemented a program to subsidize the cost of diabetes medication, EpiPens, and asthma inhalers for Santa Clara County residents.
