Deeply passionate about education and entrepreneurship which is reflected by the motto “Learn. Earn. Return” on many levels. Completed 12 professional qualifications, including an MBA, CMA, CPA, and GCTE. In 2017, published my book - "Mastering Tax, BAS and Payroll". It is currently being used in higher Ed classrooms.I have contributed to the education ecosystem for 15 years through executive roles at the University of Melbourne, RMIT, and Victoria University. At RMIT, led the accounting program and redefined the accounting department to “Best Practice Program” for ASQA re-registration audit. The work in pioneering technology led to the achievement of e-learning grants, staff development and a leading role in the space of e-learning, gamification and micro and meso credentials and nano degrees at RMIT.Established the Sethia Group of Companies, which operates in five major sectors: Property, Finance, Education, Retail, Health. Nexus Developments is a diversified property development company, building sustainable communities with a current pipeline of $400 million.Convergence Finance was established to provide personalised financial service to small and medium sized businesses and homeowners. Finbeat Finance is the only lender in Australia that provides car loans to international students and temporary visa holders.Nexus Care is into Medical centers and providing NDIS Supported Independent Living accommodation. I am passionate about Economic Empowerment of our community and founded JITO Australia in 2018, where I am the current Zonal Chairman of Asia-Pacific. At its launch, initiated the “Support an Entrepreneur” program to provide seed capital to aspiring entrepreneurs. This program has resulted in founding of multiple successful businesses, including a multi-million dollar solar company.Recently, both JITO Australia and Nexus Developments were named finalists by IABCA (India Australia Business & Community Alliance) in the categories of Community Services Excellence and Excellence in Trade and Investment, respectively. Nexus shared the stage with companies like Telstra, OLA, and ACER.In 2022, it was an honour to be named among the "Top 100 Indians in Australia" in the entrepreneur category. My goal is to curate 108 entrepreneurs and continue to impact the world through education and entrepreneurship for our current and future generations.
