I have experience working as a Finance and Operations professional for various organizations, including the USAID's Nepal Reconstruction Engineering Services (NRES) Project, International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and GIZ Nepal. In these roles, I was responsible for overseeing finance and accounting matters, procurement and subcontract functions, and project operations, administration, HR, logistic and disposition of government-owned properties. I managed and reported an annual revenue of $25M for the NRES project for six years, supervised members in various teams, and developed operational manuals and accounting systems.Additionally, I conducted capacity building for project personnel, prepared monthly and annual reports, and liaised with government offices for tax and VAT reporting. I was responsible for managing budgets, cost monitoring, payroll and taxation, procurement, inventory management, and contracts while ensuring compliance with anti-corruption policies. I implemented SAP ERP System, QuickBooks Online and ensured timely submission of VAT, CIT, and Tax/TDS. I provided mentorship to newly hired project accountants/bookkeepers on accounting policies, methods, and procedures and conducted regular finance and administrative training to staff.Overall, my experience shows that I have strong financial management skills, extensive experience in project operations, and are knowledgeable about anti-corruption policies and procurement procedures. I have also experienced in liaising with government authorities and preparing reports for management and donors.
