Risk oversight for ~$10B Japan leasing, vendor finance, fleet, real estate lending and leveraged finance business. This included direct responsibility for credit underwriting, portfolio management, equipment and fleet valuations and remarketing, collections, work-out, reporting and analytics teams, initially over 600 head. Work-out of ~$2B of post financial crisis distressed Japanese real estate mezzanine debt and equity. Restructuring of several complex transactions including leading Japanese lenders in U.S. and Japanese courts for recoveries.
