Worked in a Centre of Excellence (COE) - Solution Design & Engineering team. Below are some of the projects that I am working and have worked in the past.Data Analytics Platform (DAP) – I have just started working on a project where Operational Data (incidents, changes, CI, service requests etc..) is to be brought on the Cloudera Cluster which resides on AWS Cloud. For data ingestion, I have created a bash and Python scripts which fetch the JSON data from ‘Service Now’ API using Hadoop Streaming and injects into the HDFS. BMT Automation – I worked on the designing and developing a Business Maintained Tables (BMT) solution on Hortonworks’ Hadoop Platform using technologies like HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie and Falcon. It is a Software as a Service (SaaS) type of Cloud Computing Solution for our HPE client. EDW to EA Data Lake Migration - Worked on bringing Enterprise Data warehouse (EDW) data into Hadoop data lake. We were supposed to make exact same structure that we have in EDW in Data Lake in the form of raw layer and refinery layer. We changed the existing Seaquest scripts into Hive scripts. We also changed the existing tidal jobs and scheduled to Oozie and Falcon. EDW Separation SMO – In 2015, HP was split into HPI and HPE. I was involved the project where whole EDW was supposed to get split between HPE and HPI. It was logically separated i.e. tables are shared between both companies and are distinguished by company code. I managed to create the design that was required make that change happened in terms of scripts and table level changes. Foreign Bank Accounting Report (FBAR) – This was my first project where I handled the end-to-end design and data modelling for ‘Foreign Bank Accounting Report’ (FBAR) project which involved technologies like Hadoop, vertica, Yotta and Business Objects (BO). There we were supposed to get the data from different streams into Vertica and then create a report according to the business requirements.
