• Worked with the team that develops the Commercial Loan Portal (CLP), which enables external clients to perform loan transactions targeting the Strategic Loan Systems.• Developed an internal use tool for the developers, as a one-stop solution to monitor all the transactions and bug issues of CLP.• Development involved React, Spring Boot, OracleDB, Jenkins, and working with a micro-service-based architecture.

Bengaluru, India (Wfh)

• Optimized the workload management and scheduling algorithm in Apache Spark, using an RL-based approach, with 27% performance improvement compared to the baseline run.• Added support for new scheduling modes, automatic classification of DAGs based on complexity, dynamic switching of scheduler modes. • Exposed tunable handles in Spark to support an external Reinforcement Learning agent, and tested on a multi-node VM cluster set up.

• First commit across the codebase; One of the first engineers on the team; Worked in a fully-remote setup with the team distributed across timezones.• Goldcast is a VC backed Cambridge, MA based start-up led by alums of Harvard Business School, building a platform to conduct live virtual corporate events with measurable ROI.• Built the video infrastructure for the platform with various features such as broadcast, peer-to-peer video chat, screen sharing - scalable to 100K concurrent users.• Developed using a diverse tech stack which includes Vue.js, GraphQL, AWS Amplify, Node.js, Agora, Flask.• Earlier built the MVP which helped the firm get early traction that aided in scoring 3 paid clients and subsequent venture backing.• Visit goldcast.io to know more about the product!
