I oversee the day-to-day operations of a rigorous, fast-moving and decentralized evaluation process used to analyze nearly 25,000 applicants a year. As the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, I have the challenge of efficiently and effectively managing a large, remote, and part-time workforce (60+ evaluators) across multiple timezones in order to most accurately evaluate admissions material. Within the organization, I also establish systems to reflect team capacity, productivity and output to help inform strategic decision making.

I founded The Masculinity Detox because the Alpha Male is a myth. Suppressing our emotions can literally shorten our life-spans. And, when we hold each other to a single form of repressive manhood we feel alienation, depression, and an increased likelihood of self-harm.So, I created an inclusive online community platform to help bring folks together and discuss the ways in which we can eliminate toxic behavior from within ourselves, our relationships and the wider world. All are welcome to join the community because all are impacted by patriarchy and toxic behavior. Let's start a movement toward a healthier masculinity and a more diverse set of opportunities for all genders.

The Program Manager of Digital Education & Academic Technologies serves as the School’s digital academic technology officer/lead. The Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of digital education, digital media, and faculty, staff and student training on new academic technologies introduced to the curriculum. In order to support an integral component of the Innovation Initiative, the Program Manager is responsible for creating an innovative teaching and learning environment. The Program Manager provides strategic leadership in planning for and implementing new digital learning technologies, providing expertise in instructional design, digital media, and project management, as well as the assessment, deployment, and management of emerging educational innovations. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and directing the School’s digital education and academic technology strategic plan.

The Director for Blended and Personalized Learning leads the development and implementation of the districtwide blended learning program. As the Director for Blended and Personalized Learning, the leader participates as a member of the Department of Teaching and Learning and reports directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning. This leader is responsible for developing and implementing a plan for a comprehensive P – 12 district wide personalized blended learning in collaboration with Teaching and Learning, Division of Equity in Learning stake holders and community partners, including university partners. This position will collaboratively supervise Educational Technology TOSA positions and appropriate classified staff.

The primary mission of the Director of Personalized Professional Learning is to support the creation of a personalized learning network for each adult within DPS, such that he or she has the technical resources, professional development, and online access to people that are aligned to the needs of their position in order to support schools, teachers, and students. Beyond that, this position creates and support a technology-enabled collaborative environment for all district and school stakeholders to share information and knowledge collectively, decreasing siloed departments/schools/initiatives and increasing the strategic use of technology for productivity, collaboration, and increased student outcomes. The strategic nature of this position requires a working knowledge of all areas of knowledge management and collaboration currently represented within the district to present a compelling vision for how each of the disparate pieces come together.

Provides leadership to ensure the successful district-wide implementation of blended learning instructional models in Denver Public Schools. (Blended Learning is a hybrid school-based instructional program that combines student self-paced technology-enabled learning with teacher led instruction.)

Researches and disseminates best practices in online teaching and learning. Designs, develops and delivers workshops to introduce instructors to effective pedagogical practices that support teaching in blended or fully online learning environments. Guides teaching staff in the design or redesign and development of learning goals, content and instructional strategies for web enhanced, blended and fully on-line courses. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

I teach 7th/8th grade language arts to G/T students in a technology integrated model for learning, which I co-authored. I also consult for the virtual school in our district in a resource teacher capacity.
