Sitting between 3 UK sites and an Indian Development Centre, my role supports Managing Directors and their teams in the effective management of their people to ensure that a first class operational HR service, which meets the needs of the business, is delivered at all times. In a professional environment with significant pace and autonomy, my role delivers value add services at the Managing Director level, as well as setting up and influencing best practice whilst managing a heavy case workload.Key responsibilities include: - Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and save costs, both within the HR team and wider divisions- Integrating with divisional and business strategy, understanding all ‘People Plans’ and the implications for HR service provision- Achieving group budget through effective recruitment strategies whilst exploring alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and to reduce recruitment spend- Using indirect and direct channels to build a talent pool in a diminishing candidate marketplace- Providing accurate input into monthly divisional board reports and board meetings- Supporting the Head of HR to ensure ‘People Plans’ are successfully implemented, kept up to date and under review- Providing generalist, professional advice throughout the entire employee lifecycle - Driving the delivery of specific engagement projects- Providing regular operational reports and management information- Delivering focussed training programmes which support the forthcoming people agenda- Shaping and implementing learning and development plans for all employees

Bibby Financial Services is the largest independent factoring and invoice discounting provider in the UK. Bibby Financial Services is part of Bibby Line Group which has been established for over 200 years. The key objectives of my role are to: - Provide generalist HR advice and support in a multi-site organisation to line managers and employees on a diverse range of complex HR issues, including discipline and grievance, managing performance, maternity, flexible working, absence and termination of employment - Ensure that line managers are equipped to deal with, and have the skills to spot early warning signs for, a range of HR issues through coaching and guidance- Manage the end to end recruitment process for senior vacancies across the UK, from liaising with agencies and managers to agree requirements and timescales, to short-listing candidates, conducting face-to-face interviews and recommending suitable candidates- Increase employee engagement across the region, through working with MD's to introduce initiatives aimed at improving motivation and morale
