I am currently a junior at New York University pursuing a B.A. in Anthropology with minors in Chemistry and Linguistics on the pre-medical track. Through my study of Anthropology, I hope to better understand how the role of culture and environment has shaped the way people view scientific research and medicine, specifically the cultures of people in developing nations.I have a strong background in volunteering through the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center located in Gilbert, AZ, instructing labs through my experience as an Honors Chemistry T.A. at Xavier College Preparatory, and narrative writing. In addition, I voluntarily taught younger students (ages 5-10) interested in learning basic string playing techniques.
