CurrentIn my current role, I manage reliability analysis for a deep-space telescope system, delivering risk mitigation strategies and authoring sustainability analysis reports to support system longevity. My work involves assessing high-failure equipment, forecasting spare parts availability for the next five years, and navigating the complexities of shared resources and staggered deployment schedules across multiple sites.Part of this work is done by automating data management using Python, which has streamlined data upload, processing, analysis, and visualization for my team's various optical and radar sites and in one case, led to a 23% reduction in monthly workload. Additionally, I have contributed to a major code refactoring project, modularizing 9,000+ lines of Python code to enhance functionality and maintainability, and address significant technical debt which had been accrued by the legacy code which was previously in use.Additionally, during my time on this program, I have developed comprehensive training materials which will reduce onboarding time for new analysts by 80%, offering a thorough understanding of our system and including clear, replicable steps for data acquisition and analysis that is unique to optical sites.For the past three years, my team's success has been driven by the project management methodologies of Agile, and I have been engaged in story creation, planning, estimation, and execution using JIRA.
