• Determined the climate of domestic violence in Grenada through research on previous and current domestic violence policies, domestic violence prevention and treatment initiatives, and through informal interviews with local Grenadians.• Conducted asset-based interviews with stakeholders of Cedars Home, which is the only shelter for abused women and their children on the island of Grenada, to determine the strengths of the shelter and how these strengths can be improved upon to increase its efficiency. Stakeholders included members from the Ministry of Social Development, Cedars Home Board of Directors, Cedars Home staff, and Cedars Home residents.• Developed a needs-assessment of Cedars Home through information collected from stakeholders' asset-based interviews. This needs-assessment included recommendations and next steps for increasing the resources, and developing training needs, for staff and residents of Cedars Home.

• Incorporated social media into Women-Inspired Neighborhood (WIN) Network: Detroit events that engaged participants in our program goal of reducing infant mortality through our program objectives, connecting women to resources in their community and providing them social support.• Increased my knowledge of how to construct health messages for young African-American women in Detroit through social media and marketing strategies • Created social media campaigns to heighten city-wide awareness of the importance of infant mortality reduction in Detroit• Obtained grant revision skills by improving and creating communication strategies pertaining to a major objective of the WIN Network: Detroit program
