Together, my clients and I maximize and expand the positive impact of global peacebuilding while they also stay much safer and healthier mentally, emotionally and physically in the process.This niche corner of the coaching world combines my vast cross-cultural life experience with my academic background:- My background in Cultural Anthropology combined with extensive living abroad means that as a coach, I have both the experiential understanding combined with the theoretical framework to help clients work through the nature and effects of culture shock and accumulated cultural stress- My training in global Conflict Resolution enables me to coach those working on the frontlines of peacebuilding and humanitarian work with a deep comprehension of incredibly complex issues that life coaches without this background could never have- Many "coaches" call themselves so without having gone through the rigor of an ICF certification (the top US-based coaching industry standard), which I have earned.

Provided on-site cultural consulting for Spanish-registered medical/humanitarian NGO of 20+ staff. Assessed interactions between NGO staff and locals and provided ethnographically-oriented recommendations for increased effectiveness in our North African fieldwork. Conducted operations as the only American (and English-speaker) with Spanish-speaking colleagues from the entire spectrum of Latin American countries.

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Conducted ethnographic research focused on Kyrgyzstan’s ethnic minorities (focus on Uzbek, Uyghur subcultures). Administered cultural orientation seminars for western NGOs and foreign businesses. Attempted to get our services into the US military base (Manas Air Base which was being used as the base of operations for Afghanistan) but was unsuccessful due to the tragic lack of perception of the need.Highlight of my time in-country: 6-month immersion with local Kyrgyz/Uzbek family.

As a way of fueling my passion for the nation of Afghanistan, I supplied organizational support and administrative assistance for OneMaker, a 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a tangible expression of God’s love to poor women and girls vulnerable to trafficking and other exploitation by giving them opportunities through education and business ventures. At the time of my involvement, we were launching OneMaker's first business start-up for women in Afghanistan (while based in Virginia Beach, VA, USA).My focus was on assistance with project cycle management, website development, and expansion of communications with US-based business partners and with Herat-based Afghan women employees.
