In the past I worked mainly in charcoal, drawing beautiful images of people. Capturing beauty, mood and personal essence. These are satisfying, timeless and celebratory works of art to own.I now primarily paint large artworks as statement pieces. Oils or acrylics, depending on the style. My oils are more realistic, moody and soft. My acrylics are either abstract textural works, or a semi-poster style effect.A large majority of my work has been commissioned, including custom designs for showhomes, where the interior designer can request a specific size, theme and colour palette. I've really enjoyed creating these works, probably because in my business we are often guided by briefs and so the process comes quite naturally.I often exhibit at the NZ Art show in Wellington, at which my artworks have often sold out over the weekend.

Beautiful store, however we had problems with the franchise owners and location, and Usana part time was providing a better lifestyle than Marocka was with me full time, so we decided to let it go. Fantastic learning experience in all areas of business. Recommend diving in (and using networking groups for education and support) over going to business school any day, even if it costs potentially way more.
