As Asst. Director I oversee the administration of three Weinberg programs including International Studies, Asian Studies, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. I work with the faculty Directors of these programs to advise students, manage curricular development, and provide program management and administration.•Academic advisor for over 200 declared students.•Coordinate and teach research methodologies workshop for study abroad students.•Review and asses undergraduate research grant proposals •Research and compile academic course offerings following the curricular guidelines of IAS programs•Review and asses study abroad curriculum for credit•Plan, implement and evaluate a variety of quarterly academic events with University and non-University partners.•Monitor and manage departmental programming, purchasing and donor budgets totaling approximately $65,000.•Recruit, train, manage and initiate annual performance review of staff.

Served as key liaison between the Field Museum and the Manager of Administration four our partner organization in Peru, CIMA (Centro de Conservacion, Investigacion, y Manejo de Areas Naturales). Identified government compliance issues with our partners and compiled and edited quarterly technical and financial reports for USAID grant totaling over $10mm.
