I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented economist, with experience both in competition economics and market research. I hold a Master's degree in Economics from Nova School of Business & Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.My research interest includes corporate tax, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and profit shifting. In my MSc final thesis, I exploited available data on M&A deals to suggest that cross-border deals, where the target's country is characterized by lower tax rates, may result in profitability gains for the acquiring company. In my BSc final thesis, I analyzed the Marshall Plan and the Next Generation EU to identify similarities and differences between the two recovery plans to demonstrate if the "Next Generation Marshall" hypothesis has real-like fundamentals.Apart from my academic and professional experiences, I am an avid traveler, having completed a pilgrimage on foot to Santiago de Compostela. I also had a semi-professional volleyball career in different Italian teams and took piano lessons since a young age.I am fluent in Italian and English, proficient in Spanish and intermediate in French.
