While growing up I had no idea of where life was going to take me. This became more evident as my High School career came to a close. I had no clear picture of what I wanted to become and where I wanted to go next. I started my first job in the motor industry at the age of 18 at a Toyota Dealership in Windhoek Namibia, my main role being to sell new vehicles to retail customers.I remember being very nervous and uncertain in my role, but I was very lucky to have a manager who cared and saw potential in me that i never knew I had.This pushed me to become better and to be better, I wanted to achieve my goals, make my targets and give the best Customer Service. I succeeded in becoming an expert in my field. This only came after I asked myself the following question.Is this just another job to me or will this be my career My answer to myself was very simple, this will be my career. After that day I ensured that I fully understood what role I played in the business and what role I could possibly play in the future.Now almost 14 years later I find myself in my current role as Dealer Principal of a Dealership at the age of 32 and a women.I only achieved this by putting in the effort when others did not. Working harder to understand something when I did not understand. Ask questions when I did not know the answer. Being determined to achieve even when it seemed impossible. I am known for my high energy levels and positive outlook on situations.I have found what I enjoy in life. Working with a team. Leading a team. Building a brand.I want to give others the opportunities in life that I got, I want people to be inspired by my journey and know that it is possible to achieve something in life.Between all of the above I have come to understand business and business practices, looking at what is needed and formulating goals to achieve this.
