Responsible for providing legal support to three under-secretariats (Supervision, Urban Planning and Urban Regulation) in order to achieve the Municipal Master Plan (a local Law) objectives. Initially hired as Legal Assistant, assumed the Manager position in January, 2022.

Legal advice for the management of high-capacity urban mobility projects (public subway system).

Assistance to the general coordinator and the interdisciplinary technical team in the management and development of a Transit Oriented Development basic project for the State of Rio de Janeiro, sponsored by the World Bank.

Responsible for conducting research and issuing legal opinions and studies on the planning and execution of public policies on urban mobility in support of the State Attorney’s Office. Initially hired as Legal Assistant, assumed the Sub-coordination position in March, 2017.

Support to the National Secretariat of Urban Programs in carrying out normative, doctrinal and jurisprudential surveys, coordinated by a Professor of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, to create models to advise States and Municipalities in Brazil to develop public policies on land regularisation.

Assisted on the whole lifespan of the research project, from the drafting of the project proposal and the development of the methodology, to the publication of the final report. The project was supported by the United Nations Development Programme via the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and coordinated by a Professor of the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. The research focused on the effectiveness of land regularization instruments and involved a national survey of legislation, judicial decisions and governmental practices.

Assistance by project to the senior partner of the urban and environment consultancy practice.

Support to the interdisciplinary municipal team and the Municipal Attorney’s Office in programmes and projects focused on the integration of favelas in the city, by planning and developing public strategies that recognized social rights and popular participation. Initially hired as Legal Intern in March, 2010.

Legal orientation and conflict mediation for individual and collective demands at the Mediation and Citizenship Centre (Aglomerado da Serra, a favela in Belo Horizonte, Brazil); researcher assistant in a survey ordered by the State of Minas Gerais (Brazil) about metropolitan impacts of urban policies in order to elaborate the Master Plan for Integrated Development to the Metropolitan Area of Belo Horizonte.
