I was born in Boulder, Colorado and grew up with a love for all that Colorado has to offer – the nature, snowboarding and skiing, hiking, rock climbing, bustling cafes, adorable dogs, and wonderful people. My parents were photographers who loved off-the-beaten-path travel. As a child, my family traveled to over thirty countries by the time I was in high school. Our global adventures opened my eyes to the incredible potential that the world has to offer. This naturally evolved into a passion for working internationally. As a result, I have studied, worked, or lived on nearly every continent. I speak English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and tuti (a little) Wolof and Arabic. From a rural village in Senegal to meeting government leaders Europe, I thrive in diverse environments and have a knack for transforming problems into opportunities. Since childhood I have been passionate about the built environment and cities of the future – technology to the urban design. This has led me to a career centered on technology, sustainability, infrastructure development, and ultimately real estate. Despite working on interesting projects internationally, there is no place like home. I am very excited to be back in Colorado, especially since Colorado has become a global leader for green technology and urban design. I’m particularly excited to be working in real estate (especially as an urban planner). I believe that quality of life is shaped by our environment – from access to hiking trails, parks and bike paths for fresh air and staying fit, to restaurants, walking malls, and places to get together with friends. The data shows that where we live matters. And where we live doesn’t just impact our well-being, real estate has historically been one of the most effective and consistent asset categories for building wealth. After watching my family’s own experience, I am a deep believer in real estate’s potential to help families achieve their financial goals. Plus, I love nerding-out on the math!Outside of work you will find me dancing salsa, cooking and exploring new cuisines, planning the next travel adventure, exploring unexpected statistics, or drinking my 2nd cup of coffee at a local cafe.
