New-ish to LinkedIn & excited to connect! I’ve been committed to cultivating the student and professional staff experience for over a decade. My full-time professional career in Higher Education officially began in 2012 with Residence Life & University Housing. I absolutely love the holistic way Residence Life work contributes to the student experience and I’ve taken my contribution seriously in all roles I’ve served in over the years. Initially with a fixation only on the student experience, I realized a few years into my career the depth of value in cultivating the professional staff experience. There are professionals all across the globe who work diligently to meet the needs of students and prepare the next generation of leaders. Ensuring the needs of these professionals are met, should be a top priority for the future of Higher Education. Seeing a need to improve Higher Education as a workplace, has led me to where I am today. I’m deeply grateful for the people and places of my journey. Every person and every place has contributed to building who I am today and the way I insightfully contribute to those around me. I am a doctoral candidate at Ball State University (virtually) in the Higher Education Ed.D. program.
