Since Arcus is a small animation studio I often find myself involved on various areas of the production process; from storyboarding to concept art, from animation to post-production. I love how the studio has a wide range of clients and often I can find myself working on very diverse projects such as art installation, promotional animated video or IP.

Art Installation at Tanfield Railway in Northumbria took willing passengers on a journey through time on the Time Traveling Tanfield Express.This project involved many freelance animators and each of us had to create an animated sceneto be projected onto the exterior windows of an old train carriage.The carriage was fully converted into a time travelling.

Enchanted Parks is an innovative after-dark arts adventure, which sees Gateshead’s Saltwell Park transformed through visual arts, performance, installation and interactive works. I had the opportunity to create a series of suggestive abstract animations projected on smoke and synchronised to the music played by a Christmas brass band. The band members were.

I created a short animation to help promote the five ways of wellbeing among student age 18-25. In order engage the audience I have designed the animation as a computer game. I worked as a stop motion animator for the educational film ‘Carbon Cycle Caper’ aimed to promote and educate children and young teenagers about the climate cycles. I worked for the Director David Bunting and I gained a great insight about working with a team of experienced professionals. This film was also shown across all the Greater London Museums.

I designed vintage movie posters for cult films screened at the independent Star and Shadow Cinema in Newcastle. I gained experience in working for a client and producing a required and defined style whilst still applying my own signature.
