I recently completed a 90 hour placement with the City of Armadale within their Community Development team. As part of this placement I was involved with a variety of tasks including: - Surveying community members as part of children's week event to better understand what parents and caregivers in the area need and want within the City of Armadale. - Developed a project plan for a retail shoplifting prevention initiative. - Conducted research to locate current statistics regarding volunteering. - Consolidated contact details and information for a variety of youth related services available to youth of Armadale and developed a draft youth service guide to be provided to the public as a directory. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the City of Armadales Community Development team and learnt so much about the work that Local Governments do within the community

I worked as a residential assistant on the Curtin University Campus.This role involved the planning, running and supervision of residential events. Which required me to conduct a risk assessment and develop contingency plans aswell as budget for the event. I was required to patrol the campus during the night to supervise residents and to be a point of contact in case of an emergency.

I completed a practical work placement at the WA Primary Health Alliance in Geraldton for 100 hours. During this placement, I worked on the Midwest Suicide Prevention Trial, where I planned a community event to meet KPI's for the trial. The event I planned aimed to increase the awareness of a regional community on how to gain access to mental health services within their area. During the planning of the event, I was required to liaise with the WAPHA, Department of Health, Non-Government organisations and members of the community.

I worked in an administrative position with Joblink Midwest in the Transition to Work Department.In this role I was required to carry out reception/administrative tasks such as data entry, booking client appointments, using CRM software, answering phones, emailing clients, purchasing supplies for office and delivering mail.
