My surname is peculiar and if I use a uppercase first letter with sans-serif fonts, the first letter gets very often misunderstood for an "L", as the sound would be easier and more natural to pronounce for most people. To avoid confusion, I have decided to make it more explicit by dropping the uppercase first letter. I am proud of my surname and my origins, and I don't want it to be misspelled :)
