Bill completed the sale of the Hearst Electronics Group, of which he led, to Arrow Electronics, a $25 billion+ electronics distributor. As V.P. Publishing Director at Hearst Business Media, Bill made key investments to re-position the Electronics Group which led to the sale.Bill successfully managed the transition of the group from an almost exclusive print revenue business with a single digit profit margin into a worldwide multi medium powerhouse serving the electronics engineering community, growing EBITDA by 400% over 10 plus years. Bill made investments in three Joint ventures for the group; Aspen Labs, Embedded Developer & 21ic.com, the leading site serving Electronic Engineers in China.
