Register and schedule all appointments, Bone Density Appointments, maintaining monthly calendar for Physicians, Ensures that all patient inquiries and requests for new and subsequent appointments are handled in a quality and time appropriate manner by working with staff to ensure appropriate appointments are given, handle/distribute all in basket messages, Warmly greet patients in person and by phone, obtain patient information, provide new patients with forms and necessary information for their visit, answers and triages patient calls as necessary, responsible for establishing follow up, and is conversant with treatment options, insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations for testing and medications , obtain referrals, and practice fees so as to advise patients in a supportive manner regarding their options for care within the practice.

Screen, consent, enroll and follow-up study patients. Data-entry. Ensure on going studies carried out according to protocol, institutional policy, FDA regulations and GCP guidelines. Assure maintenance of accurate and complete study records and documentations. Track and report adverse and serious adverse events, protocol waivers, deviations and violations.

On- Site Lead Certified Clinical Medical Assistant• Medical Assistant for Dr. Lawrence Lenke, Dr. Ronald Lehman and Dr. Daniel Riew • Assist multiple Orthopedic Surgeons and Spine Surgeons with patient care.• Triaged patients including all vitals, updating all patient’s information and entering it using the Crown System. • Assist the Surgeon’s clinical team with entering X-rays, MRIs, Physical Therapy and CT Scan orders, assist with chart preps and making live reminder phone calls and to ensure all patients have all documents needed prior to their appointment. • Responsible for ordering all supplies and medications for spine and neurology departments• Maintained all exam rooms, keeping them clean, stocked and prepared for use.• Removal of staples and sutures as per surgeon’s orders and assisted with injections and cast removal.• Assist clinical teams with scanning documents, uploading MRIs, CT Scans and X-rays into Life Image and nominating to GE Pacs system and Epic system.• Responsible for making sure all health and safety standards are up to date.• Assign and manage exam rooms for 15 providers for daily office hours. • Ensure that all patients are pre-screened prior to coming to their scheduled appointment.• Review office notes, generate return to work/school letter prior to check-out.
