I am an educator and photography journalistic creative who is committed to promoting children's well-being through education, art, nature, and creative outlets. With a dual degree in Psychology and Special Education, as well as a master's degree in Educational Media Design and Technology, I've taught in various classrooms from Pre-K to 12th grade, including special education inclusion and remedial language arts. I'm also the founder of the ZamirAhsaad Allah Dunbar Foundation Inc. and the Universal African Festival, and I established and am the Senior Director of the N'Power Sisterhood Mentoring program. I'm dedicated to opening doors to new experiences for children facing financial barriers, incorporating my passions for creativity, social emotional learning, technology, nature, and exploration exposure into my teaching and mentoring. I'm an experienced and creative individual with a vision to create a safe space for children, parents, and elders to experience cultural greatness, creativity, emotional support, and academic fulfillment.
