I identified necessary equipment to increase capacity of a homogenizer by ~ 50% plus determined a schedule and budget for the project. I conducted a line trial with the R&D team to determine feasibility of extruding Dove Minis in a pattern to achieve the perfect blend of flavors in a carton. I scoped the construction of an exterior dock door with contractors to deliver and remove equipment safely and efficiently. I managed the replacement of the old hygiene junction sink with two individual handwashing sinks to maintain handwashing functionality, while maximizing wall space. Finally, I determined the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to be worn when operating cleaning out of place (COP) tubs, and coordinated the standard work instruction (SWI).

I designed and completed the replacement of approximately 18 feet of worn down, 6-inch diameter, pipe that feeds into a dust collector, which will increase dust collection efficiency and safety in the plant. I also designed a new line in an existing vacuum system to allow operators to isolate the line for a more powerful suction. In order to complete these I communicated with contractors to review the designs and schedule work to be done on the units. Additionally, I gathered field data on dust collectors in the plant and populated it into signs to ensure efficient dust collection.

I identified and documented 55 chemical pumps in the plant by walking down Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) of production units. I also updated JD Edwards with Model, Serial Number, Cut Sheet, Bill of Materials, and parts list. Additionally, I increased efficiency of the plant in planning repairs to pumps and identifying pumps. I also connected with pump sales representatives to learn more about their pumps and to gain additional information.

I Ensured the bar was always stocked and in pristine condition by working directly with the bar manager and staff. I trained two newly hired bar backs. Additionally, I worked with staff as a team to ensure the quality of the guest experience.

I also used Western Blot to compare protein levels of Phospho-Src in endothelial cells after it was treated with Saracatinib and Dasatinib.
