Extensive experience in electrical safety testing of transmission distribution equipment’s such as Switchgears, Transformers, Busbar Trunking Systems, Circuit Breakers, etc. in accordance with the relevant IEC Standards. A certified ASTA Observer for Low Voltage Transmission Distribution Equipment's. Responsibilities & Experiences:>Responsible for conducting testing/inspections in various Test Laboratories and Manufacturers Facilities for Power Switchgear & Controlgear Assemblies, Power Transformers and Busbar Trunking Systems in accordance with international standards such as IEC 61439 , IEC 60076, IEC60529, IEC 62271, etc.>Along with the Senior Observer has conducted laboratory assessments and factory audits/inspections under the ASTA RTL (Recognized Test Laboratories) Programme and ASTA Diamond Mark Factory Licensing Scheme in accordance with IEC 17025 and the respective ISO guidelines.>Preparation of test plans, test reports and technical reviews relating to various transmission distribution equipment’s.>Planning, co-coordination and execution of ASTA certification projects and working towards the development of ASTA strategy in Middle East, in line with the Middle East General Managers directive thus driving the growth of ASTA Certification Services in the region. This encompasses type test certification, ASTA mark and site services.>Conducting design evaluation of HV/LV equipment’s and reviewing the technical specifications/drawings of the equipment’s to determine the appropriate test plan/scope according to the applicable product standard.

 Under the guidance of Senior Engineers, conducted on and off-site evaluation of products to determine compliance with applicable standards such as IEC 60335, IEC 60950, etc.  Ensured the continuous maintenance and calibration of the test equipment’s and to identify and recommend the necessary requirements for improving the functioning of the laboratory to achieve better performance with adherence to policy guidelines. Working with Quality and HSE personnel to ensure safety procedures are followed and reporting any safety related incidents to HSE department and implementing preventive actions if required. Implemented and maintained the Laboratory Quality System and was successfully involved in the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation process.
