With over 10 years of experience in photonic circuits and computing, I have developed a deep understanding of integrated and discrete circuit design. I specialize in end-to-end circuit development, translating theoretical concepts or algorithms into practical photonics implementations. This includes designing, simulating, and optimizing circuits for functional and efficient real-world outcomes. I have accumulated extensive experience with Lumerical, Matlab, and Python for device and circuit-level simulations. I had the opportunity to lead efforts to develop hardware accelerators for CPUs and cryptocurrency using digital photonic circuits. Additionally, I have worked with machine learning algorithms for prediction and classification. Most of my peer-reviewed papers combine AI and photonic hardware.I am passionate about knowledge, innovation and interdisciplinary work. For these reasons, I co-founded a Startup, Milkshake Technology Inc., and raised seed and Series A rounds to develop next-generation photonic hardware for digital computing. I also spent four years part-time writing a nonfiction book, Interactions, with CRC Press - which discusses how interconnects model our world and shape our understanding.
