• Executes operating orders and standard switching procedures during outages and normalization of substation equipment and transmission lines.• Conducts routine inspections of all substation equipment and monitors operational parameters and data.• Coordinates with the affected power costumers during planned and forced outages.• Conducts thermal scanning of high voltage equipment and secondary devices.• Report deficiencies/abnormalities based on equipment inspection of incidence.• Participates and provides logistical support in the preventive and corrective maintenance activities of substation equipment.• Receives, prepares, transmits, and files reports, correspondences and other related documents.• Prepares switching sequences for the requested shutdowns.• Analyze operating parameters and to timely reports any deviation from normal values to immediate superior and concerned group.• Complies with the applicable regulations and standards of NGCP on safety and quality.

• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all electrical and instrumentation equipments including Operational Technologies (OT) not limited to SCADA and PLC.• Conducts condition-based monitoring programs as specified in Work Instructions and input them in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).• Monitors operational parameters and analyze data to provide reports and recommendations on any operational deviation and abnormalities.• Conducts routine inspection of auxiliary and other electrical equipment on a regular interval.• Ensures all measuring and test instruments are calibrated.• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on LV and MV electrical systems.• Conducts routine inspection of emergency power sources and battery systems, e.g. battery pack, back-up generator (black start), to provide emergency power source for the plant in cases of interruptions.• Ensures critical and rotable spare parts are identified and available at any given time.• Ensures proper implementation of PTW (Permit to Work) in accordance with the safety policy.• Performs fire-fighting and other emergency responsibilities as defined in the Emergency Response Plan.• Establish monitoring database of Generator and Engine Auxiliaries performance and identify appropriate maintenance plan to eliminate force outage and equipment failure.
