I provided delivery and coordination of training sessions to individuals and groups of trainees identified by Job Centre Plus and from private companies. Subjects included Business Writing, Dealing with Difficult People, Communication, Assertiveness, Introduction to Management, Interview Techniques, Staff Coaching and Time ManagementI worked as part of a small training team so not only did I deliver courses but I provided training coordination which included a variety of tasks from the setting up of rooms ready for training sessions, meeting and welcoming clients at the beginning of and during each session, dealing with enquires both face to face and by telephone to discussing individual training needs and working with clients and companies on the provision of training programmes and on-going staff development plans.Whilst running training sessions I was often faced with questions and issues from vulnerable people who were in a difficult position both financially and emotionally due to being out of work for long periods. These I dealt with with understanding and respect often with little or no prior knowledge to their background or situation

3 months voluntary work within the charity sector. Upskilled on use of Microsoft Office in the development and initiation of an asset register of all IT and AV equipment withing the organisation. Developed new relationships with regional offices and worked with local Directors on a daily basis.

Supervising a team of 4 Training Facilitators my key responsibility was the development and provision of training courses to 500 staff of all grades and experience including members of the Senior Management Team. In this role I was able to develop and expand the existing set of training courses and to implement and train on a number of new courses including:• Presentation Skills• Time Management • Disability Awareness• Managing Difficult People• Problem Management• Stress Awareness• Personal Development• Communication • Courses to support the new Land Registry Diversity programmeI completed my Certificate in Training Practice (CITP) qualification in 2006 and gained valuable insight into the role of a training professional. I was also able to implement and facilitate training courses based on many of the models and practices covered by the course.I then completed the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualification and subsequently rolled out the training to 23 team leaders and line managers with a 100% pass rate in all areas.I have been commended by my trainees for my professionalism, guidance and knowledge and was able to raise my profile and credibility with both staff and Senior Management with the way I planned and presented courses to staff who were often resistant to taking part.One of my most significant achievements was in 2007 when I was the project manager for a project to design and deliver a course on influence and negotiation for staff involved in the Land Registry Future Leaders Project. I enjoyed this opportunity immensely and gained a great deal from working closely with a number of highly professional and experienced individuals. On completion of the project I was commended on the work I had carried out, my organisational and administrative skills throughout the project and the style and delivery of my final presentation to a number of key senior staff whose feedback was universally positive and encouraging
