I am currently working as an associate professor at Inland University (Lillehammer, Norway), but most of my legal background is from being a practicing international lawyer. Before studying law I was a military officer. I graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo (Norway) in 1999, and I received a grant to study EU-law in Regensburg (Germany). I have admission to the bar in Norway and Spain, and I speak working proficient English, German and Spanish apart from the Scandinavian languages. I teach private law for bachelor law students at Inland University, where I am responsible for 30 ECTS courses in the law of obligations. I also teach some property law, family law and legal history. At the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo, I give tuition to master students writing their master thesis'. My main research interests are: The law of obligations, both general principles and specific contract categories like international sales contracts. I am especially interested in unjustified enrichment, condictio indebiti, Roman law and legal history. I also find comparative law and legal theory very interesting.
