Michael McMahon has been sailing for over 30 years. He's skippered over 650 charters and has been at sea for 6+ days at a time. His early sailing adventures started at age 25 in the Caribbean and over the years he has sailed in Canada, Puerto Rico, Italy, the British Virgin Isles, the Bahamas, the Red Sea & the U.S.During his time in Sardinia, Italy, McMahon operated two day-charter boats. The first, Stella Marina, is a custom built 46' day charter catamaran built in Britain and certified by RINA in Italy for 29 passengers plus 3 crew members. The second catamaran, Isolabella, is a 33' Dakota catamaran that will do 16-20 knots, was built in New Zealand and delivered to Malta in the Mediterranean. This catamaran has seen most of southern Med-Sicily, Rome, Sardinia, Corsica and Capri.Captain Mike helped design/build a day charter catamaran for the corporate trade to visit Puerto Rico: the Chamonix II. Today she operates at Pier 121 on Lake Lewisville, specifically catering to luxury day charters for corporations, weddings and private events. Chamonix II is a 70' Gold Coast day charter with a carrying capacity of 105 passengers. She is well designed to host events with meals and dancing. Her bar can seat 13 guests and there is ample room for another 70 guests to lounge, dance or tee golf balls from the stern. The Chamonix II party boat is perfect for Sales Meetings, Team Training, or any other fun getaway, yet has a relaxed atmosphere. The party boat also hosts themed cruises (e.g. Sunset, Sunday Brunch Cruises) that can be booked online for individuals & groups.
