Operation Inherent Resolve Civilian Casualty Cell, I was in charge of one intelligence analyst, ensuring he properly conducted the initial assessments of all civilian casualty allegations received by the Operation. If the initial assessment found that probable civilian casualties were sustained, my responsibility was to conduct a thorough assessment by looking at Battle Damage Assessments and Collateral Damage Estimates, as well as reaching out to any units who were operating in both, the area of the incident and during the time of the incident. This position involved open lines of communication with contingent forces from within the coalition.

My duties were to issue and maintain Company CBRN equipment, as well as give classes to soldiers on the use of their equipment and proper procedures before, during and after a CBRN attack.

Heavy Weapons Company Squad Leader, I was in charge of the health, welfare, discipline and combat readiness for a 4-man truck crew and an up-armored HMMWV with a mounted Common Remote Operated Weapons Station(CROWS) with multiple weapon system capabilities. Assisted Section Sergeant in technical and tactical matters, administrative duties, and training of my truck crew.While in this position, I also held the additional duty of being the Company CBRN Representative. My duties were to issue and maintain Company CBRN equipment, as well as give classes to soldiers on the use of their equipment and proper procedures before, during and after a CBRN attack.

Served as Sergeant of the Guard for base Entry Control Points, enforced Standard Operating Procedures for security towers throughout the base. Generated reports from observation posts in my sector to send to higher echelons of command for up-to-date information regarding the movements of troops and vehicles.

As a machine gunner, I was responsible for health, welfare and morale of the 3 soldiers that made my gun team, as well as the tactical employment of the M240 medium machine gun, providing direct fire in support of the rifle squads/platoons/companies and the infantry battalion. Conducted multiple successful training exercises and live fire evaluations in this position from Squad to Platoon and Company validations.

I learned a lot during my short time with the Caterpillar Precision Seals department. The maintenance technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. The facility engineer was a fantastic mentor who had been an expert of his craft. Every member of the team that I interacted with was charming and driven.
