I was a family therapist for the Department of Children, Youth, and Families in Jefferson County, Colorado. I worked with individuals, couples, and families and I focused on the area of child abuse. I did play therapy and was certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a treatment for trauma. In addition to therapy I did case management and worked closely with caseworkers as well as the court system. I have a good deal of experience testifying in court. In 2010, i was the recipient of the Excellence in Practice Award from the state of Colorado.

I was a pharmaceutical sales representative for Merz Pharmaceuticals. I was responsible for increasing sales as well as the education of dermatologists and plastic surgeons on their products.

I was responsible for the sales and service of group life and health insurance products to employer groups with 20 or more employees. I conducted financial analysis, evaluated risk, and set rate and plan design options. I was also responsible for educating the employees on their benefits once the plan was put into place. In November of 1991, I was the top sales representative in my division, producing $10, 934,004 in revenue.
