Since joining Construct Digital, I've spearheaded a project to overhaul the agency’s value proposition and brand identity to reposition us for deeper C-Suite engagement. Initially slated for 2 months but actually running for 12, this gig was the gift that kept on giving. I worked across the combined creative departments of Arcade and Digitas, managing a team of 18 creatives on digital/social accounts for Agoda, Disney Studios, HSBC, Kinder, Notre Dame Australia, Prudential, Samsung, Shangri-La Group, Tiger Beer and Tourism New Zealand. In terms of new business, I was the creative lead on wins with Agoda, MOM and Prudential.

Singapore

Cuckoo is a brand experience agency guided by wisdom and irreverence. As agency head, I had oversight across all facets of the business, having grown the agency from zero billings and no clients to a 25-strong team partnering some of the world’s biggest brands in less than 3 years. I came to work with Draft Singapore on an 8-week freelance contract but in no time became a full-time team member and proud permanent resident of the Little Red Dot. I was creative lead for the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer frequent flyer programme but also worked on Hewlett Packard, HSBC and TNT. Beyond my creative duties, I developed and delivered a series of intensive weeklong training programmes for Singapore Airlines’ global sales & marketing department.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

I unexpectedly found myself working at TBWA Direct, having arrived in Amsterdam intending only to house-sit a friend’s apartment for a few weeks. It was a truly international agency working on big global accounts that demanded borderless creative solutions. They made me the English copy lead on the relaunch of KLM’s Flying Dutchman programme and then kept me on when the Air France KLM merger necessitated the launch of an entirely new programme, Flying Blue. Dubai, United Arab Emirates

I joined OgilvyOne in sunny Dubai, unable to face yet another grim British winter. The agency’s biggest account was Emirates and I was creative lead on the Skywards frequent flyer programme. This was the beginning of my enduring relationship with relationship marketing. We also did EMEA-wide projects for American Express and TNT, giving me my first real taste of multilingual, cross-cultural communications.

I was thrilled to land a contract at TBWA GGT Direct, having recently arrived in the UK with my degree in one hand and a backpack in the other. The role allowed me to work alongside many outstanding professionals in the heart of London’s ad scene at the height of the Dot-Com era. I was still at Uni when I secured my first copywriting gig at an independent agency specialising in real estate, tourism, travel and hospitality. We mainly did through-the-line launch projects for the likes of Marriott, Lend Lease, Mirvac and Meriton.
