Our company does two things really well:1) We provide the Inclusion system to agencies that support people with intellectual disabilities all over Canada. 2) We provide our online payroll system to Canadian businesses and non-profits as IBEX Payroll. Our purpose is to empower and inspire great workplaces. My role in all this is something along the lines of “culture evangelist”. I coach each member of my team regularly, encouraging them to constantly challenge their comfort zone while doing my best to help them reach their personal goals. This is the pattern that every leader here follows, working closely with each member of their team. All in a fun caring environment.I am a ham at heart. I work hard not to embarrass anyone too much with my antics. When I can’t contain myself any longer and fear I may cause a disruption at the office, I take my show on the road and talk about leadership and employee engagement anywhere that will have me.My personal mission is to make a difference in the life of others. Part of living this mission is to help out in the community where my skills and network can make a difference. The most important cause for me right now is Candace House. I am proud to have led the organization through the phase from fundraising to opening the doors. Candace House is a safe place for victims of crime as they navigate the impacts of being victimized and it is a first of its kind in Canada.Our core values reflect our focus on working hard, having fun and being 3578.6% nicer than most companies you will ever deal with:1.
