I believe that food is one of a few universal languages, and through Belle Clementine, focused on creating meals as a medium to bring people together.We crafted a unique menu for each meal, driven by the ingredients available daily from our farmers and purveyors. Served at 3 large communal tables, our 4-course meal experience took on a dinner party format. Farmer's Market Brunch served on Sunday mornings, and many private events, weddings, birthdays, etc.In addition, culinary consulting clients included: ACE Hotel (www.acehotel.com/portland) and Outstanding in the Field (www.outstandinginthefield.com).

I was appointed to the Executive Cabinet of the Associated Students of Stanford University in the spring of '05. In this position, I worked with the President and Vice President of the ASSU and 8 other Cabinet Members. Specifically, I consulted on projects in the Arts, Athletics, Publications, and Social Life at Stanford. I helped both individual Stanford students and student groups to pursue their passions while attending University. Achievements include guiding Stanford Club Sports through a sustainable funding initiative, which included securing a $225,000 pledge from the Office of the President.

Carried out routine dissection and histological preparation of bone samples for osteoporosis study in the first of three summers. Developed a dynamic computer model of complex network behavior in bone cells in the second year (subsequently published). Independently designed, developed, and deployed a novel murine disuse (osteoporosis) model that now drives research direction for the lab and has been published in "Bone."
