Because everytime I go onsite for IT/Software work I gain 30-40 lbs from the inactivity, and all the managers work remotely anyway(hypocrites). I'm really sick of weighing 300+ with anxiety attacks, never about my actual code though. I got put on a PIP and fired one time because I was away from my desk in the bathroom for 23 minutes. I had diarrhea. I have been in corporate America since 2015, I will not allow the fakeness of that environment to ruin my love of programming and turn me into someone is mentally weak, phony and unprofessional. (You know its true, you know you tolerate people and tip toe in that office, you know you will be terminated the moment you try to remove your boss's thumb/fist from your rectum). I'll work from home or just be homeless.
