(1) Developed the DOE Cost, Tariff and Subsidy model/report for 2020/2021, as per new cost allocation methodology. The data intensive exercise considers the generation, transmission and distribution costs incurred for electricity, water, wastewater and recycled water businesses, and their allocation between licensed and unlicensed customers/categories based on customer hourly demand profiles, peak demands, and connection levels.(2) Performing review and approval of generation budget as well as demand forecast and statement of future capacity reports, annually produced for Abu Dhabi power and water sector.(3) Assisted the Regulatory Impact Assessment of new electricity and water Bulk Supply Tariff charging methodology.(4) Developed proposal for Abu Dhabi Executive Council on new electricity and water, distribution connection charges for customers.(5) Performed annual and quarterly review of fuel sufficiency as well as operational KPIs of all IWPPs operating within Abu Dhabi as per applicable generation license conditions.

(1) Lead on Project Synergy (UAE power/water sector optimization and restructuring study up till 2030) and UAE gas sector optimization initiative (setting up of a single, natural gas transmission system operator, regulator and transition to a gas market);(2) Lead on UAE National Energy Strategy 2050 (modeling, target setting and strategy development), launched in January 2017;(3) Established the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) unit for performing GIS based analysis and developing tailored tools such as Shuaa solar calculator; (4) Performed solar PV zoning study for UAE in collaboration with Masdar Institute; (5) Developed the triple helix initiative and structured two research partnerships with Emirates Steel and SKM chillers; (6) Organized three regional trainings on energy modeling; facilitated various international collaborations such as Clean Energy Ministerial, Mission Innovation and UAE-USA Strategic Energy Dialogue; (7) Focal point for UAE-Germany Strategic Energy Partnership; developed UAE national energy balances (2013-2016); (8) Wrote speeches and performed researches for Minister and Undersecretaries.

Abu Dhabi

(1) Strategy and research analyst for IRENA Repowering Cities Initiative; (2) Performed progress reporting and budgeting for CSP; (3) Developed detailed technical and financial proposals for solar deployment in Dollo Ado, Zaatari and Azraq refugee camps in Ethiopia and Jordan, solar and geothermal energy fueled food drying initiative, IRENA quality center in China, and waste heat to cooling in UAE;(4) Lead the GCC solar PV Laboratory Network Initiative and the IRENA Scholarship Program;(5) Facilitated public private partnerships for clean energy transition through development of collaborative arrangements between IRENA and client organizations such as IKEA, FERTIL, ADNOC, GASCO, DUBAL, ADSSC and ABREC;(6) Co-authored the wind energy guide for municipalities, energy efficient outdoor lighting guide for municipalities and Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) Oman; (7) As team member, developed the RRA methodology and renewable energy supply chain impact on local economy working paper;

(3) Field Maintenance engineer responsible for maintenance activities of all equipment at Product Storage and Movement unit.
