Setting up a Technology team to build GIS platforms and services for various industries needing geospatial solutions for increasing their efficiency and productivity. This is built on top of Deduce proprietary geospatial data and related solutions.

After suppenannuating, this was a period of introspection and plan for next phase of my career. I was enagaged in laying a Product go-to-market strategy for a company aspiring to be in the CRM space.

ValueMomentum provides IT and Business solutions in the Insurance & Financial Services industries in the US region. My responsibility included driving growth and maturity in Application Management Services, Testing Services and Customer Communication Management, each being independent business units. Majority of these engagements are based on IT Transformation across the organization with large capex spend.

Post Tech Mahindra taking over Satyam in 2009, I was given responsibility as a co-business leader for the vertical for delivering services and enabling growth in the Americas region. Between 2009 & 2015, there were major wins in Railroad, Logistics, Express Services and Hospitality sectors in the region. The clientele included, two of the four Class I railroads in the US, two of the top three Courier & Express company, one of the top three hospitality companies, the largest sea freight company, strategic OEMs in railroad and transportation & major trucking companies. Other focus areas were Delivery Excellence, Tools and Automation, Agile adoption, open source adoption and industry specific solutions.

This was a global Delivery responsibility in the vertical. Established delivery centers for US based railroad, supply-chain/ 3PL logistics and hospitality clients of Satyam. The APAC and ME markets were in growth phase. I drove some critical large deals in the Airline industry and we had the largest airline in Australia, and two major national carriers in APAC. I established the complete delivery and governance. At the peak we had a team of about 1200+ associates.

I built the Capital Market Practice as part of the BFSI vertical. During this period we started our relationship with some major Investment banks in the US sector. Besides, we also started working with one of the major banks in Australia and one in Singapore. The team size grew to about 500+. My team worked on M&A, Trading, Clearing & Settlement & back-office applications.

Headed the AMEX-IBM India outsourcing program at IBM Global Services. Built a team size of 300+ engineers with 3 delivery centers in India and the near-shore in IBM Phoenix, Ft Lauderdale and Minneapolis. Delivered major projects on Travel card related services in application development and maintenance.

HK and China was a nascent market for Indian IT industry in 1996. I was responsible for building the market for offshore based services in the Financial Services segment. Built local relationships with TCS's global clients such as AIG, GE. TCS had twelve marquee customers by year 2000 that includes HongKong Stock Exchange.

Worked in various delivery and sales support roles, for clients in Europe, the US and APAC in areas of ERP rollout, Applications Management (AMS), Application Integrations, Implementation and Testing . Major technology handled was in Oracle suite, Unix/ C, Unisys, VAX/ VMS and Unix systems. Supported large RFPs for various geographies.

I started my career as a Graduate Engineer in L&T being hired from my engineering campus. Got trained in BULL mid-range systems on GCOS O/S and DEC/VAX. Developed custom built applications in Production Engineering, Production Planning, Inventory Controls, Job Costing and Financial Accounting for the Heavy Engineering division of L&T. Indigenized engineering design solutions from L&T collaborators from Europe by porting in Honeywell-BULL system.
