ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE:-Worked in (administration) in• IBM• Modern Institution for Performing Arts,KolkataResearch and Publication• About 20 articles on various aspects on dance as an art form and also on various forms of dance and their aesthetics have been published in journals and newspapers.• Number of experiments pertaining to the theme,subject matter,form,technique and facial expressions carried out in the art of miming and classical dances.• Dance drama performances staged for deaf and dumb,spastic students with innovations in practical expressions and stage conventions and also acting techniques, especially in tune with the art of miming.ACADEMIC CONTRIBUTION:-• Served as an External Examiner for Annual Practical Examinations in Bharatnatyam and Kathak at the post graduation level, conducted by RTM Nagpur University. • Worked as Chief Co-ordinator of National Seminar on Pantomime for the deaf and dumb and the spastic students and Dance organized by ‘Kolkata Anubhav’ in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture,Govt.of India.• Attended approximately 15 seminars on topics related to dance,drama,instrumental music,classical vocal,international relations,literature, international law and art criticism,orgaised by the USIEF at the American Center,Kolkata.• Imparted training to young talented artists from the downtrodden families,residing in slum areas of Kolkata, in artistic and cultural activities.• Conducted personality development workshops for working women, under the banner of ‘Kolkata Anubhav’, an institution working for the under-priviledged. • Conducted several workshops on Dance,Drama and Mime at the Department of Fine Arts,RTM Nagpur University.Specialties: SKILLS:1.
