Procurement Specialist
Current(Danzas is a leading provider of integrated logistics services) Roles and Responsibilities:- Procurement Specialist.• Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of Materials and finished parts for operations.• Work with finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting.• Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.• Source quotations from competent suppliers in a timely manner in order to process Purchase Orders efficiently.• Ensure inventory, raw materials and various products are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production that allows a business to thrive.• Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company's needs.• Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.• Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings and further value for spend.• Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.• Foster close working relationships with associated departments, warehouse operations• Record and report statistical data on supplier contracts and services to facilitate planning, maintenance and renewal of such supplier contract and services.• Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spend.• Vendory facility visits in UAE. Such visits may be at very short notice.• To carry out a comprehensive review of the Purchasing function and its methodology and identify and implement improvements.• Track and monitor Purchase Requisitions received from various sites.• Process Purchase Requisitions in line with the timelines stipulated in existing team objectives
