About Biju Kishor

As a Director of SeerPharma, I oversee Commercial and Marketing operations for SeerPharma, and have done so since 2014. My efforts on the business, led me to the opportunity of joining the SeerPharma Partnership and buying in to the firm in 2022.I have over 20 years of commercial experience in the life sciences industry. The first 10 years of my career saw me work with leading European and US multinational manufacturers of life science laboratory automation solutions. I helped these firms drive sustainable profitable growth through complex B2B sales/marketing efforts in Australia and New Zealand. Achieving business growth in such complex and highly competitive markets, for publicly listed multinationals, has provided a wonderful foundation for my career - learnings that I still apply today at SeerPharma.I am motivated by serving clients at the forefront of developing/handling pharmaceuticals and medical devicesThe companies I have worked for in the past have provided me deep expertise in the following life science markets:- Early-stage pre-clinical medical research ( Genomics, Proteomics, Cell Biology)- Applied biological sciences ( Forensics, Agritech, Toxicology, IVF) and- Clinical diagnostics (Pathology - IVD, Blood Banking) I continue on this journey of learning with SeerPharma. Here, our mission is to "Advance Quality and GMP best practices for clients involved in the manufacture and handling of pharmaceuticals/ medical devices in the Asia-Pacific region".In my role, I get to interact and engage with organisations involved in step(s) of manufacture, of pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices in the APAC region - the supply chain of our industry. We help these companies address business problems they face when dealing with Quality and GMP compliance.My commercial decisions aim to improve net profitability and working capital for SeerPharma. In summary, I oversee commercial operations for the firm. As a commercial leader, I believe in designing Purpose, Autonomy, and Mastery into the roles that I manage and work with, to drive higher engagement and improved business performance.I hold an MBA from Monash University, a Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering (with Honours), and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology from the University of Western Australia. I obtained Honours in Biomedical Engineering on a full scholarship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. I am a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
