With more than 20 years of sales, sales management and marketing experience in the sports and media industry, Bill has helped develop business solutions for clients in regions around the country. He has extensive experience in closing integrated sponsorship and media related packages. Bill is currently Director of Corporate Partnerships for the NY Mets.Prior to the Mets, Bill worked for FOX TV as Manager of their Business Development Department where he provided national clients with targeted campaigns across all FOX programming in key markets around the country. Bill also lead ABC’s Regional Sports and Entertainment Division managing the groups RSN and team sales initiatives. As Director of Sales in the New York office, Kain’s team sports experience helped the division land many new properties, including CSN Philly, CSN NW, SNY, Altitude Sports, Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, NY Islanders and NYRA. Bill spent 11 years as Vice President of Corporate Sales for the NY Islanders where he successfully managed the primary revenue areas of the hockey club including Corporate Sponsorship, Executive Suites and Ticket Sales. He tripled corporate sales volume during his tenure, producing growth in 10 consecutive seasons. He managed a sales force of 30 people and a community relations team of 6 people. Bill had direct sales involvement with all major accounts and national clients and negotiated and maintained media relations with TV, radio and print partners.
