Job Responsibilities:• Communicating with the buyer, understanding their need & serving them accordingly. • Developing sample as per buyers’ requirement & finalizing it with the buyers. • Doing all necessary Pre-Quotation & Product Development as per specification. • Handling the sourcing, purchase & procurement of necessary fabric, trim & accessories. • Preparing time & action plan & giving necessary direction to assure on-time delivery. • Demand forecasting, material requirement planning & assuring on-time delivery of the product. • Overseeing the commercial & L/C related issues & assigning them with all necessary documents. • Executing the order by communicating & coordinating with all the stakeholders. • Update & follow OTS (Order tracking sheet) in the PLM system & other input in the ERP System (SAP).• Ensure L/D & Strike-off submissions, approvals, material booking, and releasing QA file. • Inspecting the production process on a day-to-day basis & resolving all the problems.• Supervising the activities of junior team members & mentoring them. • Coordinating planning department on the production schedule, production follow up.• Implementing different cost reduction & quality development tools & techniques in the supply chain.Major Contributions: • Providing end to end merchandising support to different Buyers like Coppel (Mexico), Price Shoes ( Mexico), Kswiss(Mexico), Rewind(Mexico), Cheeky(Argentina)EPK(Colombia),Reply (Chile), Dikter (Argentia), Marisa (Brazil) and Lifestyle, Max & Big Bazar (India), Richmond( Itali), Silvian Heach( Itali), SH, Trussardi( Itali ) • Leading a team of 5 people & handling a business of USD 8 million per annum• Developing 100+ Style per season & ensuring Year to year business growth by 20%
